Virtual Student Welcome - Wednesday, August 18, 2021

Kick off the new year at the Student Welcome virtual event. At our New Student Welcome, students experience combination of the following: meeting and connecting with new people, explore and articulate your education and/or career purpose and goals, and getting a feel for new environment. We're thrilled to welcome you all to UH Maui College and join you as you embark on your new journey. 

All registered UHMC students are welcome to attend the UH Maui College's New Student Welcome Day!
(Attendance is Required for new and transfer students)

Date:  Wednesday, August 18, 2021
Time: 5:30 p.m.

All students registered with fall classes will receive the event RSVP sent to their UH email. 
Students will receive the Zoom join link and passcode a few before the event. Please check your UH email at that time.

​Note: Students residing on Molokaʻi will receive information from the Molokaʻi Education Center.

What do I need to attend the Virtual New Student Welcome?

Class Registration
Students must be registered for Fall 2021 classes to attend the event. For registration questions, please schedule an appointment with an academic counselor online or at 984-3306.

I need a device (laptop, tabloid, Wi-Fi)
Request laptops and other equipment items from the Library's Equipment Catalog. This service is FREE to UHMC students. For more information call (808) 984-3715.

I need a reliable Wi-Fi

I need to know how to use Zoom to video conference
UHMC will use Zoom to host the Virtual Welcome. Most of your online classes will be Zoom based. Learn how to use Zoom.
